About

Computer engineer with a passion for building systems from silicon to software.

BS in Computer Engineering from the University of Central Florida, VLSI track. I design at the intersection of hardware and software — from custom PCBs and microcontroller firmware to full-stack applications. I believe great engineering is invisible: it just works.

My senior design project won Best Interdisciplinary Project at UCF's Senior Design Showcase — a laser-based Braille etching system combining custom hardware, embedded firmware, fiber optics, and software.

Custom PCB Design

Designed multi-layer PCB in KiCad featuring MSP430FR6989, stepper motor controllers, PowerPath controller (LTC4412), undervoltage cutoff (TPS3808G01), and battery management system. Full schematic capture through fabrication.

MSP430 Firmware

Developed embedded C firmware for the MSP430FR6989 — UART communication with Raspberry Pi, stepper motor control via SPI, LCD interface over I²C, and real-time laser control with PWM for variable ablation depth.

System Integration

Bridged the gap between software (Python/Pi), firmware (C/MSP430), power systems, and the optical/mechanical subsystems. Responsible for end-to-end data flow from text input to Braille output.

Custom digital circuit design and layout using industry-standard EDA tools. Gate-level optimization, timing analysis, and physical layout in the VLSI specialization track.
